Tonight I just now have gotten settled in a very lovely guest house in Buenos Aires after 22 hours on the road. I have a couple of days here before heading down to Ushuaia for my 3 week Antarctica cruise. After that I fly back up to La Paz, Bolvia for a couple days and then head out on an overland trip through the altiplano to northern Chile. Finally I it's back down to Santiago and over to Easter Island for 6 days before heading home just in time for Christmas.
Sherree very graciously allowed me to miss *her* 50th birthday but with the proviso that I blog about the minutia of my journeys and, as well, bring back a big bag of loot! So stay tuned and post me a message if you like. I'll try to do text updates from ship and post some pics when on terra firma.
